"The significance of the work is in its effort not in its intentions. And the effort is a state of mind, an activity, an interaction with the world."
~Richard Serra
Your Creativity Is Calling
Do you hear it?
How are you going to respond?
You have the urge to create.
You have been given the gifts of opportunity, freedom, power, privilege, desire and passion.
If your creativity is calling, then you must Create. Right. Now. ASAP.
You need to show up, roll up your shirt sleeves, dive in and get your hands dirty. You need to go through the process. The ups and downs. Dig deep. Stay committed. See it through to the end.
You might have to create in the middle of things. But you create anyway. You don't toss in the towel. You have to paint with the knowledge that you might fail. But you love the process of creating so much that you do not care. You laugh in the face of potential failure. You, instead, predict success.
You are all in.
Find the motivation be it big or small, huge or insignificant.
The most important thing is to answer the call.
Best,
David
